Ed Nelson has over 30 years of financial services experience and a very deep and diversified background.
He began his career with Salomon Brothers, Inc., then spent eight years at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor and vice president of consulting and advisory services. Ed was also a senior vice president of Old Mutual, one of the world’s largest insurance companies.
Ed’s focus is designing holistic portfolios incorporating asset protection and significant asset class diversification. He achieves this by utilizing multiple portfolio analytics tools to select solutions that meet clients’ needs and risk profiles.
Ed relocated from New Jersey to Pensacola to join American Heritage Financial and enjoys helping businesses and people work toward achieving their financial objectives.
Ed has a Master of Business Administration in finance and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.
